Frequently Asked Questions
JUAN is a free Chrome extension that lets you track cryptocurrency prices and manage a personal portfolio right from your browser. It features a retro pixel art interface, real-time price updates, sparkline charts, and integration with X.com (formerly Twitter) so you can see live prices next to cashtags in your feed.
Visit the Chrome Web Store, search for "JUAN", and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, pin the extension to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle-piece icon and toggling JUAN on.
Click the JUAN icon in your toolbar to open the popup. Use the search bar at the top to find a coin by name or symbol, then click the + button to add it to your portfolio. You can optionally enter the amount you hold.
No account is required to use JUAN's core features — portfolio tracking and price viewing work immediately after installation. Signing in with Google unlocks additional features like cloud sync, referral rewards, and governance participation.
Prices refresh automatically in the background. When you open the popup, you'll see the most recent data. You can also tap the refresh button to force an immediate update.
JUAN aggregates price data from multiple sources. Small differences between sites are normal and can result from:
Open the coin's detail view by clicking on it in your portfolio. Then use the remove option to delete it from your list.
Yes. In the portfolio view you can drag and drop coins to rearrange them in whatever order you prefer. Your custom order is saved automatically.
The sparkline is a tiny chart next to each coin showing its price movement over the last 7 days. It gives you a quick visual sense of the recent trend — up, down, or sideways — without needing to open the full chart.
Click on any coin in your portfolio to open its detail view. You'll see the current price, percentage change, an interactive chart, and key metrics like market cap, volume, and fully diluted valuation.
The detail view offers several timeframes:
Tap any timeframe button to switch the chart.
MCAP (Market Cap) — The total value of all circulating coins, calculated as price × circulating supply.
FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation) — The theoretical market cap if all possible coins were in circulation, calculated as price × max supply.
VOL (24h Volume) — The total dollar value of trades in the last 24 hours. High volume usually means stronger price confidence.
JUAN scans posts on X.com (formerly Twitter) for cashtags like $BTC or $ETH and displays the current price inline. This lets you see live market data without leaving your timeline.
A cashtag is a dollar sign followed by a ticker symbol, for example $BTC, $SOL, or $DOGE. They're commonly used on X.com to reference cryptocurrencies and stocks. JUAN recognizes crypto cashtags and enriches them with price data.
If prices aren't appearing next to cashtags, try these steps:
The Fear & Greed Index is a market sentiment indicator that ranges from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed). It's calculated from factors like volatility, trading volume, social media activity, and market momentum. JUAN displays it at the top of your portfolio as a quick mood check for the overall crypto market.
Open JUAN's Settings and toggle off the Fear & Greed meter. Your preference is saved and will persist across sessions.
JUAN rewards active users with points for actions like using the extension regularly, referring friends, and participating in governance. Points may translate to future benefits within the JUAN ecosystem. Check the Settings panel for your current point balance.
Each signed-in user gets a unique referral link found in Settings. Share it with friends — when they install JUAN and sign in, both of you earn reward points.
Governance lets the JUAN community vote on feature priorities and project decisions. Signed-in users with enough participation can cast votes on active proposals. This helps shape JUAN's roadmap based on what the community actually wants.
Go to Settings in the JUAN popup and look for the Solana Wallet field. Paste your wallet address there. This is used for any on-chain rewards or airdrops associated with your JUAN activity.
To sign in, open the JUAN popup and tap Sign in with Google. To log out, go to Settings and tap the sign-out option at the bottom. Signing out does not delete your local portfolio data.
Yes. JUAN stores your portfolio data locally in your browser. If you sign in, minimal account info is synced securely. JUAN does not have access to your exchange accounts, private keys, or funds. We never sell or share your data.
